Build a New Kind of Wealth – Social Capital

In the rush to learn about online social networking, many of you may be downplaying your key face-to-face relationship-building skills. While it can be easier to interact with an inanimate computer, it won’t ever replace your need to develop stellar communication skills to build your “network of knob turners” in person … within and outside your organizations. Learn from Lillian Bjorseth, an international networking authority, how to prepare before an event or meeting, work it and follow up for maximum results. Seeing the whites of someone’s eyes is still the surest way to build the foundation of all good relationships: Trust!

About the Presenter:  Lillian Bjorseth

One of Lillian’s clients said she “is without question one of the most brilliant and charismatic speakers I’ve met. Her ability to personally connect with each and every member of her audience is truly remarkable.”  You, too, can enjoy Lillian at our May 18, 2010 meeting when she delivers her customary high-energy, informative and interactive program. The Chicago Tribune calls her a “networking expert” and the Association Forum of Chicagoland dubs her “the business networking” authority. She’s a member of National Speakers Association, a trainer, skills coach and prolific author who has been named one of the Great Women of the 21st Century.

Lillian's published works include Breakthrough Networking: Building Relationships That Last (third edition); 52 Ways to Break the Ice & Target Your Market, an interactive learning tool; and the Nothing Happens Until We Communicate CD/workbook series. I am a contributing author to Masters of Networking and co-presenter of the Marketing Boot Camp DVD/workbook.
